Overlooking the gymnasium, the track is surrounded by cardio equipment and stretching areas. Recreation and Wellness Center houses a multilane, indoor walking track. Self-contained racquetball courts are available adjacent to the gym floor and reservations may be made one day in advance. The courts are prioritized for informal recreation and intramural sports, so there's always an area free. Our gymnasium houses three full-size basketball courts with more than enough space for you to enjoy a game of volleyball or badminton while other students shoot hoops. If you're looking for a more rigorous aquatic work out, swim against the current of the natatorium's vortex feature. Swimming is a great alternative to high-impact exercises that can be stressful on your joints. By engaging in an aquatics workout, your body develops general strength, cardiovascular fitness and endurance. Aquatics is a healthy activity that can benefit the body and the mind.
